What it is Why commonChord

Common Chord is a Central Scotland–based music and creative facilitation organisation working with community groups, care providers, artists, and cultural partners to design and deliver participatory music projects that support connection, inclusion, wellbeing, and cultural engagement.

We deliver live music, participatory workshops, and collaborative creative programmes across community and care settings, supporting creative expression, participation, and cultural exchange.

Alongside this work, we may provide professional audio recording and video documentation where appropriate, helping to capture, reflect on, and extend the impact of creative activity.

Our mission is to use music and creative practice as a practical way of bringing people together — supporting participation, wellbeing, inclusion, and cultural connection across communities, care settings, and creative environments.
We work with artists, community groups, and care providers to design and deliver shared musical experiences through performance, workshops, recording, and collaborative creative projects.
Alongside this, we support original musical talent and creative exchange, helping to connect artists and communities through meaningful shared practice, storytelling, and expression.
